螺栓加热棒适用于汽轮机螺栓加热棒装拆加热的电加热器。其它承压容器的大螺栓电加热器，也可参照采用。每个电加热器在装配完毕后，在常温下用500V兆欧表测量其绝缘电阻不得低于50 M Ω。并经受1500V耐压试验，历时1min而无击穿或闪路现象。然后在空气中于额定工作电压下通电加热2-3min，不得有过热现象，且绝缘电阻不得低于0.5 M Ω，泄漏电流每千瓦不大于0.5mA。并检测其功率，是否符合订货要求（偏差±5%），试验后，检查电加热器各部分是否完整无缺。每个电加热器应经制造厂质量检查部门检查合格，并附有合格证，方可发货。
